VETERANS DAY DINNER, TALKS PLANNED HERE
Wednesday,November 6,2002


     A traditional Veterans Day dinner and program is planned for Monday night, November 11, at the Dillon Elks Lodge.
     The event begins at 5 p.m. and is slated to last until 7 p.m. Featured speakers will be Mayor Marty Malesich, Beaverhead County White Hat Coalition President Stan Smith and a representative of the American Legion.
     The event is sponsored by the White Hat Coalition, the Beaverhead County Veterans Memorial Committee, the Kiwanis Club, the American Legion and the Beaverhead County Museum.
     Patriotic music will be provided by the Four and a Chord, and a drawing and silent auction is planned.
     The spaghetti dinner is $5 per person. Applications for the veterans memorial will be available at the event.
     After the program the White Hat Coalition will meet to discuss this years Christmas care packages and cards. Anyone interested in helping stuff boxes, write cards and collect items for the care packs are welcome to join. The Coalition will send packages to the nearly 140 men and women from Beaverhead County serving all over the world.
